The Supernatural S4 Complete DVD box set was released in the UK on Monday, finally.  However a problem was identified where the discs are incorrectly numbered, and the special features are missing.

I just came off the phone with a lady called Karen Curran, a CS Team leader from Warner Home Entertainment, they admit the problem is theirs, they pressed the wrong discs. What they want is for everyone who has a set without special features to return the set to them, and they will replace it with a correct set. This saves returning it to the retalier for a refund and then waiting to reorder when new stock arrives.

Send the DVD's to

They need a covering letter with your name and address. If anyone wants to ring them to confirm anything the number is 0207 984 6480.

There is a thread running on the community Dean-Sam here http://community.livejournal.com/dean_sam/10519012.html and I have posted this on there, but I wanted to pass this message onto as many people as possible.

I just had a pm from Letsgetstarted, she phoned WB Home Entertainment and they said it does also affect the 2 part sets, so anyone with those ring them and see if you can get them replaced.

I probably won't send it back to them, because I live in Germany and I don't want to pay for postage to the UK, but I like the way they're dealing with it.

I would phone them, they might have a solution for you.

Not worth it :D
I've never watched special features in my life, so I doubt I want to start now ;)

One more question... IF I change my mind about returning it, would I just leave this line out of the address: "Freepost-RSAR-ZTSK-XTBT" or just "Freepost"?

Probably a stupid question...

I was told the address needed the whole Freepost-RSAR-ZTSK-XTBT, as I think that is the code you need, I would phone them as the Freepost may not work from Germany.

Nope, it probably won't.
But well... Right now I can't be bothered to do anything *lol* Maybe I'll send the box back to amazon, but I've realized that when I'm not completely mad about something it's not worth the hassle to return an item.

Me again... I'm so sorry to get on your nerves like this :(
IS this whole code "Freepost-RSAR-ZTSK-XTBT" only relevant if I want to use freepost?
I have no idea how this stuff works in the UK :(

If it's only important for the freepost thing to work I'll just leave it out and send them DVDs on Monday, since I have to pay for postage anyway.

I just spoke to Warners, they say send ALL the discs and packaging back, you can still use Freepost from Abroad (so no postage), BUT you must phone or email them first to log your claim BEFORE you send them back, the email address is UKCustomer.Enquiries@warnerbros.com, or phone on 0207 984 6480.

Get proof of posting, and it could take a few weeks to get new DVD's as they are still awaiting new stock.

Thank you very much! I've emailed them on Friday, so I hope I'll get an answer sometime this week.

One more question and then I'll stop bothering you *lol*
Where did you find the contact information for their customer service? I'm basically just looking for an email address, because international phone calls are way too expensive...

No problem, here is the web site. I would sugest you address your emai to Karen Curran. The Contact Us link at the bottom of the page brings up an email address.

Thanks! E-Mail sent :)
If they brush me off I'll return the DVDs to amazon. I still don't really care, but others are right... It's a matter of principle and we should get what we paid for.

This gets even more convoluted. Over on sn.tv someone's been in to HMV today and told they have a new batch of the disks in. They now don't list the extras on the back, and Warners are saying it was a printing error on the boxes and there should NEVER have been any extras????!!!!

Well mine has gone back to Warners, just have to wait and see what I eventually get back!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know my replacement set arrived from Warners today, and it has all the extras. I have also seen the new sets in HMV and wonder if Warners have just repackaged the incorrectly pressed discs, so two differnet versions of the Complete set will be on sale.

Hmm, interesting... Over on sn.tv they were told by HMV there were no extras in any of the region 2 versions! I think you've done really well!!
